2007 Ministry Highlights
RUSSIA
Evangelism and orphanage campaign with East West International to children in the Voronezh region. This marked our 14th trip to the former Soviet Union!
INDIA
With over one billion people in India, the needs are great. We returned in January on research and development trip with East West International. We visited several orphanages in the northern city of Raipur, then headed south to Madurai to see the work of Redeeming India whose primary focus is in the rescue of female babies from infanticide. This trip will facilitate the future teams coming in from the US
GHANA, WEST AFRICA
In conjunction with Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child distribution to 14,000 orphans and school age children with additional ministry outreach to 3,000 villagers
INDIA
April took us back to India and the state of Karnataka to work with the COM Outreach to orphans and rural villagers. While our visit was unexpectedly cut short (visit our online journal for details) we were still able to minister to almost 800 children, orphans and villagers. We praise God for the ongoing Harvest and can’t wait to go back in August
TEXAS
June and July was again filled with joy at the two family camps sponsored by Joni & Friends Ministry. Over 100 families affected by disabilities were served for the ninth consecutive year.
INDIA
October and November had us traversing in the northern regions of India, as well as the western coastal region. During our fourth trip in 2007 we ministered to over 2500 rural villagers, lepers, orphans and worked on a medical outreach with Fellowship Bible Dallas and East West International. Truly India is a great land holding great promise.
CHINA
In December of 2007 we returned to China for our seventh trip. We participated in University outreach performances in Jinan and Beijing reaching close to 400 Master and Doctoral candidates. We were able to provide new humidifiers to aid in the health of the children at the House of Hope orphanage and purchased special treatment chairs for Cerebral Palsy children at the Jinan Orphanage. During our visit to Taian we were amazed to see the new state of the art facility being built for the orphans. Our plan is to return for the grand opening during the Fall 2008.
